OMG, you frighten me with "48-part lecture series, but enjoy that! HBD, goddess! I have a small handful of precious muses: you are certainly one. Ever inspiring and finding joy through ageless wonder. Honestly couldn't enjoy these lines more. Thank you for journeying through time to be here on this sacred planet in this, the wildest age yet -- and for making us all the richer by sharing your POV. Sparkle on.
What is true of gold is true of all the heavy elements. But still ... gold! It is important not to skip over the fact that you point out: all of the gold we mine and hoard and show off has traveled billions of miles of void to get here. While you have had your latest round trip around the sun, brilliant explosions, supernovae (?) and catastrophic galactic collisions have continued to send out gold to be hammered by our very distant descendants. I myself have been thinking a lot about deep time lately, what with my obsession concerning the James Webb Space Telescope ; I have written an essay about it and posted it on Facebook just to communicate (to very few) our new-found ability to see into the deepest past. Here's to your next round trip, I raise a golden goblet to you (or would if I had one).
I so look forward to everything you write and you never disappoint! Even though I’m your Mom….I still see, hear and feel deeply when I read your words.❤️
Thinly beaten gold prayer? You do not lack the poetry, my friend.
You're too kind, James

Aw hon - this means more to me than you know. So glad if we're walking through the wildest age, we're doing it together.
